Prof. Kibwage leads Groundbreaking Ceremony as Egerton and Kilimo Trust Launch Centre of Excellence in Regenerative Agriculture Nakuru Njoro, March 25, 2026 Professor Isaac Kibwage of Egerton University today officiated the groundbreaking ceremony and signed a significant funding agreement for the construction of the prestigious Centre of Excellence in Regenerative Agriculture. 

Egerton University Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage today in his office held a consultative meeting with security team from Njoro Sub-County led by Deputy County commissioner Pokin Ptanguny to discuss the issues of insecurity affecting students and neighbouring Community.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Kibwage Hosts Bursa Technical University Team for Collaboration in Material Science and AI. Nakuru, Njoro- 23rd March, 2026 The Vice Chancellor Professor. Isaac Kibwage today in his office received representatives from Bursa Technical University, Turkey who paid him a courtesy visit. Prof. Kibwage took the opportunity to thank the team for the collaboration and praised the robust cordial relations between the two Institutions that had seen Egerton University senior staff visit Turkey.

It was a busy day at Egerton University as Prof. George Muthaa (DVC, Administration, Finance and Planning) stepped in for the Vice-Chancellor to host a heavy-hitting delegation from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

The mission? A high-stakes environmental engagement centered on the restoration of River Njoro.
