Egerton University Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage today in his office held a consultative meeting with security team from Njoro Sub-County led by Deputy County commissioner Pokin Ptanguny to discuss the issues of insecurity affecting students and neighbouring Community.

During the fruitful meeting, Prof Kibwage emphasized the importance of collaboration between the University and security agencies to foster a safer environment, conducive for students learning and friendly community relations.

The VC highlighted the need for targeted awareness programs that educate students on safety protocols and community members on crime prevention.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards strengthening security awareness among students and community fostering a culture of safety in Njoro and beyond.
