Dr Anne Mukuna, the Chief Executive Officer of the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), has expressed warm congratulations to the newly graduated nursing students of Egerton University, and called on them to anchor their professional lives in ethics and moral integrity. She emphasized that a nurse must thoughtfully assess risks, navigate complex situations, and always uphold the NCK’s code of conduct.

Researchers, academia, students, farmers, industry leaders, and regulators are gathered at Egerton University for a three-day Biotech Symposium running from 12–14 November 2025. The event seeks to unpack the opportunities and challenges surrounding food crops developed through Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) technology, bringing together key voices to explore how biotechnology can support Kenya’s food security agenda. 

Representatives from the Nursing Council of Kenya, Kabarak University along with officials from Nakuru County Referral Hospital today paid a courtesy visit to Egerton University DVC Prof Benard Aduda- Academic Affairs.The purpose of their visit was an introductory discussion on how to foster partnerships and improve nursing education a head of today’s Nursing pinning and oathing graduation ceremony at Egerton University, Njoro Main Campus.
