Today 12^th August 2024, the Kenya Sustainable Potato Initiative (KSPI) Project through the support of Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) was launched at Royal Garden hotel, Olkalau, Nyandarua County.

On September 13^th, 2024, Tharaka University marked a significant milestone with the installation of its first Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Ratemo W. Michieka. The event, held on the university’s Main Campus, was a key moment for the institution, which received its charter in 2022.
