The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) a global professional body for accountants.  ACCA Kenya organized an Inter University Strategic Business Leader (SBL) challenge to university students from any discipline.  SBL is a contest that reflects the workplace and provides students with real world challenges allowing them demonstrate a blend of technical, practical and professional skills.

Egerton University Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs Prof. Bernard Aduda toured the Nakuru Town Campus College (NTCC) on Friday 18^th for the first time since he took office a month ago. The aim of the visit was to familiarize himself with NTCC sections as well as staff.

Egerton University will be the first institution of higher learning in the country to administer bar examinations outside Nairobi beginning 31 March 2022. This is according to the Council of Legal Education Chief Executive Officer Dr Wambua Kituku.

The Faculty of Agriculture was honored to host Dr Susan Wyche from Michigan State University (MSU) for a one-week visit to Egerton University that ran from 1 to 8 March 2022. Dr. Susan held a public lecture for staff and held a 3-day training workshop on “Considering Human-Centered Design (HCD) in Development Research” to students from diverse backgrounds including in Computer science, Agronomy and Engineering disciplines at CMRT building, Njoro Main Campus.
