Egerton University joined leading researchers, innovators, policymakers, and institutions from across the country during the inaugural Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Society (STRI4Society) Week held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.
Nairobi, May 25, 2026 —Egerton University and Corporation For Africa and Overseas (CFAO-Kenya) today formally entered into a strategic partnership aimed at promoting mechanized agriculture at the University through Faculty of Agricultural Engineering.
Egerton University is mourning the loss of its former Chancellor, Professor Shem Oyoo Wandiga, who led the university from 2013 to 2019. A well-respected environmental chemist and experienced academic leader, Prof. Wandiga is remembered for his leadership and his dedication to improving the University’s academic and research reputation.
