The Council at its 192 meeting held on 25th September 2023 resolved that:

  1. All students who have pending failed courses (Fs) will have to clear them before they can proceed to the next level of study.
  2. To clear the pending failed courses, the student shall retake the failed courses ONLY when they are on offer.
  3. Where the timetable allows, a student may register for units offered in any given semester from different levels of study upto a maximum of 30 CFs.
  4. Such students shall pay Administrative charges and pro-rated tuition fees at a rate of:
  • 16,000/- for government sponsored students.

(ii)      Applicable tuition fees for Module II students.

Note:

  • The pro-rating of tuition fees will be based on the number of courses the student will be retaking.
  • Retake Application Forms are to be picked from the respective Faculties.
  • Any student who is on deferment and has pending failed courses shall not proceed to the next level upon resumption until all the Fs are cleared.
