Egerton University Research Division is set to benefit from the recent grants awarded to Prof. Josiah Ouma Omolo, a leading chemist in the Faculty of Science at his university. These grants will support his work in the field of biotechnology, a significant step towards solving real-world problems.
The visit by the Arava International Center for Agricultural Training (AICAT) to Egerton University Main Campus in Njoro was a momentous occasion for both students and the university administration. AICAT, a non-governmental organization based in Sapir, Israel, has been providing agricultural training to students from academic institutions in over 13 countries since its establishment in 1994, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Egerton University participated in the 2nd Multisectoral Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) that was held from 23rd to 26th May 2023 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. The conference was organized by the National Commission on Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) in partnership with the National Research Fund (NRF), and Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA).
