Egerton University, in collaboration with Bowie State University, recently held a meeting in the CMRT to introduce students to the Egerton University exchange program. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an overview of the program and the various segments that the students would be participating in during their 8-week stay. The exchange program, which began in 2016, offers undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in a research program at Egerton University, specifically in the Faculty of Agriculture's Department of Crops, Horticulture, and Soils (CHS).
Egerton University and Bowie State University, USA, launched the 2024 Global Research and Extension Experience for Undergraduates in Kenya on 13 June at Egerton University. This year’s cohort comprises of fifteen (15) students drawn from nine (9) American universities.
