The Semester II 2019/2020 examinations which were scheduled to take place from Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 13th November 2020 and which stalled, will RESUME on 7th December 2020 for two (2) weeks. Meanwhile, the new academic calendar and examination timetable will be released as soon as possible.
All those who were in session should note and prepare for the said examinations.  

RE: List of Students:

The following students are required for a meeting on campus on the indicated dates at 9.00 a.m. You are requested to avail yourself and be punctual. 

In excercise of the powers vested in it by Section 35 (1) (a) (i) of the Universities Act No.42 of 2012, as ammended in 2016, and after making necessary consultations, Council has the honour of appointing Professor Isaac O. Kibwage, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Planning and Development, as the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Egerton University with immediate effect.

RE: SUSPENSION OF PHASED RESUMPTION DATES

Egerton University wishes to inform the following groups of students that phased reporting which was to take place from Sunday 15th to Tuesdat 17th November, 2020 has been SUSPENDED until futher notice

All first-years, as per Egerton University policy, are accommodated within the University and there is enough room for all.  A first-year student may opt-out of University accommodation only in writing. Please note that the information in this photo is false...

The outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern and the virus has now spread to many countries and territories. While a lot is still unknown about the virus that causes COVID-19, we do know that it is transmitted through direct contact with respiratory droplets of an infected person (generated through coughing and sneezing). Individuals can also be infected from touching surfaces contaminated with the virus and touching their face (e.g., eyes, nose, mouth). While COVID-19 continues to spread it is important that communities take action to prevent further transmission, reduce the impact of the outbreak and support control measures.

Call for Papers for the 13th Egerton University International Conference. The theme of the conference is "Innovation, Research and Transformation for Sustainable Development'. A virtual conference has been organized to take place on 24th to 26th November, 2020 via Zoom, in six sessions.

Following a decision by the Government to re-open Universities on 5th October 2020, the University has embarked on various preparatory activities in line with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
