Egerton University envisions to be a World Class University for the advancement of humanity. In line with this, the Division of Academic Affairs has organized a virtual Open forum with the 44th Graduation graduates which will be held on Tuesday, 21st December 2021 starting at 10.00 am. This is an initial forum organized by the University to receive feedback from graduates about their experiences at Egerton University. The feedback will inform strategies towards continuous improvement in service delivery to our clients.

Further to our earlier Notice regarding closure of the University, Senate at its 533rd continuation meeting held on 26th November 2021 resolved that students from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery be recalled to campus to continue with their studies.
Following the strike by University teaching staff which has disrupted learning in the Institution, Senate at its 533rd meeting held on Thursday 25th November 2021 resolved to close the University with immediate effect until further notice.

Following the interview process carried out by the Public Service Commission (PSC) and after consultation with the Cabinet Secretary for Education, in exercise of the provisions of Section 35(1)(a)(v) of the Universities Act, 2012, we, the Egerton University Council, have on this 5th Day of October 2021 appointed Prof. Isaac Ongubo Kibwage, HSC as the new Vice-Chancellor of Egerton University.
