Egerton University has invited members of the public to purchase old assets, which include motor vehicles, spare parts, ICT equipment and culled/old animals through a public auction. Following the agreement between UASU National Office, UASU Egerton University Chapter and Egerton University on 4^th March 2022 , the strike has been called off with immediate effect.

Further to our earlier Notice regarding closure of the University, Senate at its 533^rd continuation meeting held on 26^th November 2021 resolved that students from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery be recalled to campus to continue with their studies.

Following the strike by University teaching staff which has disrupted learning in the Institution, Senate at its 533^rd meeting held on Thursday 25^th November 2021 resolved to close the University with immediate effect until further notice.
