The Orientation programme is an important and compulsory exercise for all new students.  Its main purpose is to equip and prepare new students with skills and knowledge necessary for negotiating and adjusting in a new environment.  During this period, key members of the University will address the new students.

Egerton University wishes to announce to the 2020 KCSE candidates who have been placed by KUCCPS in other institutions but wish to transfer to Egerton University that applications are invited to fill the limited vacancies in the following programmes:

Mastercard Foundation has partnered with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM; www.ruforum.org), a network of 129 universities in 38 African countries to Transform African Agricultural Universities (TAGDev) to meaningfully contribute to Africa’s growth and development. The aim of the partnership is to transform African agricultural universities and their graduates to better respond to developmental challenges through enhanced application of science, technology, business and innovation for rural agricultural transformation.

This is to inform all first years (2020 cohort) that reporting dates is scheduled for 4th and 5th January 2021. All students are requested to bring along two (2) sets (hard copies) of all the documents that were uploaded online for submission to the respective faculties at a date to be communicated when you report.
