Confucius Institute at Egerton University was established in July 2012 with the joint efforts of Nanjing Agricultural University and Egerton University as the first Confucius Institute with agricultural characteristics in the world. Since its establishment, the Institute has carried out a great deal of tasks in in Chinese language teaching, cultural exchanges between Kenya and China, agricultural vocational and technical training, joint degree programs for postgraduate students. The Institute provides Kenya people with opportunities to learn Chinese language and culture.

The AgriENGAGE Summer School is an opportunity for agriculture students to have an intensive learning experience in agribusiness with a focus on entrepreneurship and community engagement. Fully taught in English, the program is designed to host students from several African universities by UM6P in Morocco. The summer school will take place from the 3rd until the 16th of July 2022. With the guidance of AgriENGAGE project experts and professors, Agriculture students will have the opportunity to develop an agripreneurial mindset, hone and sharpen their agribusiness skills.

44th Graduation Ceremony Schedule For Certificate Issuance
Egerton University envisions to be a World Class University for the advancement of humanity. In line with this, the Division of Academic Affairs has organized a virtual Open forum with the 44th Graduation graduates which will be held on Tuesday, 21st December 2021 starting at 10.00 am. This is an initial forum organized by the University to receive feedback from graduates about their experiences at Egerton University. The feedback will inform strategies towards continuous improvement in service delivery to our clients.
