Egerton University has emerged victorious at the ongoing Nakuru Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) National Show, clinching several prestigious awards. The University secured the first position in three categories: Best Stand that interprets the current Show theme, Best University Stand, and Best Stand in Research & Development. These accolades highlight the University's commitment to aligning its exhibits with the Show's theme "Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiative for Sustainable Economic Growth," and showcasing groundbreaking research and innovations.

Furthermore, Egerton University secured the second position in two highly competitive categories: Best Stand in Youth Activities, Empowerment, and Capacity Building; and Best Agro-processing Stand. These recognitions underscore the University's dedication to fostering the growth and empowerment of the youth while promoting value addition in the agricultural sector through innovative agro-processing methods. In the category of Best Innovation & Invention Stand, Egerton University secured the third position.
The University's outstanding achievements did not go unnoticed, as the Nakuru Governor, Her Excellency Susan Kihika, visited the Egerton University stand. Accompanied by the Nakuru ASK Branch Chairman, Dr Perminus Migwi, the Governor toured the stand and commended the University for its remarkable displays and innovations. The visit by Governor Kihika served as a testament to the University's impactful work and commitment to driving climate smart innovative practices.
