ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES AT EGERTON UNIVERSITY

The Daily Nation news article published in their Higher Education pullout on June 3, 2024 which made reference to programmes offered by the University does not reflect the current status of our Engineering programmes.

All Engineering programmes we have been offering up to date are accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) (www.cue.goke) and they are as follows;  

1. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering
2. Bachelor of Science in Instrumentation and Control Engineering
3. Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology
4. Bachelor of Science in Water and Environmental Engineering
5. Bachelor of Industrial Technology

The University has from time to time reviewed its programmes to continuously conform to the needs of the market, advances in the profession and requirements of Regulatory bodies. As a result, these programmes have been approved as follows:

1. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering
2. Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
3. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
4. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
5. Bachelor of Industrial Technology
