The National Potato Council of Kenya ( NPCK) and Egerton University in partnership with Laikipia County Government and other service providers, through Kenya Sustainable Potato Initiative(KSPI) project held a successful Potato Farmers Field Day in Igwamiti, Laikipia West.
Farmers were trained on various sustainable potato farming practices, climate-smart technologies, and new innovations in the sector.
In attendance were representatives from Yara, OCP, Fanisi, Bayer, Yara, Biologicals, NPCK, Egerton University, K plus S, Agri-Solutions, Twiga Chemicals, Laikipia County, among others.
