The incumbent shall hold office on a contract period of five (5) years but may be eligible for reappointment for a further one term subject to satisfactory performance in accordance with terms and conditions of service as approved by the Council from time to time.

The Chief Procurement Officer/ Procurement Manager will direct and coordinate all aspects of the University's Procurement, Accounts Payable, and University Services functions. The Egerton University Faculty of Law Legal Aid Project (FOLLAP) is training its staff on mediation. The training is aimed at capacity building the staff on how to help communities solve disputes easily as a way of accelerating access to justice which is FOLLAP’s main goal.

A delegation from the Arava International Center for Agriculture Training (AICAT) and the Israel Embassy in Kenya paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 and participated in a workshop to sensitise students on the AICAT programme in Israel.
