Egerton University will be marking its 20^th Gender Awareness Day on Monday, 18^th October, 2021 at Egerton University Main Campus Graduation Square from 9.00 a.m.

The Institute of Women, Gender and Development Studies (IWGDS) held the 20^th annual Gender Awareness Day at Main Campus in Njoro on 18 October 2021. The day's theme was "Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID 19 World", and the Chief Guest, Dr Joyce Mutinda, Chairperson of National Gender Equality Commission, graced the occasion.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof Isaac Kibwage, on 1 March 2022, opened the sensitization workshop for universities, TVETs and Research Institutions in the Central Rift Valley Region on Intellectual Property (IP) at Main Campus in Njoro.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage, on 9 March 2022, addressed student representatives at Main Campus in Njoro to update them on the current status of the University. He said that the University Senate had considered their request to extend the semester by one week.

I am honored to play this role of speaking at the closing ceremony of the Egerton University 14^th Biennial International Conference ‘Virtual’ whose theme is “Research and Innovation for Resilience in a Changing Environment”.

The office of the Dean of Students on 20 April conducted training of election officials at Main Campus in Njoro in preparation for the upcoming Egerton University Student Association (EUSA) elections set for 26 and 29 April 2022.
