Egerton University had invited bidders via tender notice published on the Public Procurement Information Portal website https://www.tenders.go.ke and on the University website, https://www.egerton.ac.ke dated 9th March, 2026 for the tender stated below:

The following clarification(s)/amendments are made to the specified provisions of the tender document for the Tender document for Supply and Delivery of Library Book for Library  Department (E-Books and Books). 

1. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PRINCIPAL TENDER DOCUMENT 

Save where expressly amended by the terms of this Addendum/clarification, the Principal tender document shall continue to be in full and effect. 

The provisions of this Addendum/clarification shall be deemed to have been incorporated in and shall be read as part of the principal tender Document. 

2. AMENDEMENTS /CLARIFICATIONS 

A. AMENDMENT

That a bidder wrote to the Head of Procurement Function notifying him on the mismatch of several ISBN numbers with their corresponding titles in the tender document that was issued on 9th March,2026.
 

The corrections were made and are presented in the following table, bidders are required to adhere strictly to this addendum.

B.CLARIFICATION

I. Tender Closing Time

That the tender closing/ opening date is hereby clarified to be on Tuesday,15th April, 2026 at 11.00a.m.EAT.That all interested bidders are advised to strictly adhere to the addendum notice.All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
