Egerton University enters into a partnership with Oslo New University College (Norway)


Egerton University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oslo New University College, Norway on 29th November 2022 at the Main Campus in Njoro.

The MoU will strengthen partnerships by promoting academic exchanges, exchange visits by staff and students, and research collaborations between the two institutions.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Isaac Kibwage welcomed the partnership with the Oslo New University College adding that Egerton University stands to benefit through student exchange programs, the development of joint research funding applications, and faculty exchange programs.

Present during the signing of the MoU from Egerton University were the Prof. Bernard Aduda (Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs), Prof. Gilbert Obwoyere (Director Examinations & Timetabling and Prof. George Owuor (Director, CESAAM).

From the Oslo New University College were Torstein Dale-Akerlund and Dr Scott Jones.
