Accreditation Status
Egerton University’s Faculty of Law is a fully accredited legal education provider. This follows a successful process of inspection by the Council of Legal Education that
comprises of professional bodies such as the Law Society of Kenya and other stakeholders. Effective from 12th February 2016, the Faculty is mandated to provide training for the Bachelor of Laws degree program for a period of five years. The University guarantees that during the period of accreditation, the Faculty of Law shall comply with the conditions, norms and standards required of a licensed legal education institution. Admission is open for both Kenyan Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) and Self-Sponsored students. Our inaugural intakes are scheduled for May and September 2016.
